Undercover's The Greatest S/S '16
This Spring/Summer '16 collection offers some of Undercover's best pieces of all time. It's no wonder the collection is titled The Greatest. The bomber and long shirt jacket are from Paper Doll 2003-2004 FW; two classic highly desirable pieces from them.
The jersey construction of the shirt and back of the bomber are made from incredibly soft, yet sturdy Japanese cotton. The front construction of the bomber is a high density nylon, while the insides feature a perforated mesh fabric. The construction and style of these pieces were beyond ahead of their time at their first inception and it is great to see them make a come back.
The three long hoodies were featured in the Languid collection 2004 SS. Jun Takahashi is, once again, ahead of his time with elongated hoodies and especially side zippers for added room, which we see so much of now a days in fashion. The three hoodies earn the right to be part of the greatest collection as they may have inspired a lot of recent designs in todays fashion world.
The construction is a great medium weight with a nice hand feel, along with branded zippers. And, of course, all of The Greatest collection garments are made in Japan.
