Visvim's Fall '16 outerwear products have a warmth to them that is perfect for the Autumn & Winter seasons. The Japanese & Italian outerwear is meticulously made with painstaking attention to detail. These selections are the most coveted in our collection right now.
The Patton & Sanjuro IT are incredibly warm shearlings made from Italian sheepskin. The Patton includes handmade leather buttons and a custom wool plaid pocket lining, while the sanjuro includes brass bells at the bottom hem. The garments will age beautifully, as they are vegetable tanned and un-dyed. Both are personally autographed by Hiroki Nakamura & made in Italy.
The silk Dotera's are a new silhouette rolled out by Visvim this year. These are the premium versions that feature an intricately made Mawata silk membrane, warmer than any form of down. For the outers, Hiroki used Harris Tweed and a custom in-house made wool stripe fabric. Both feature a strong exterior while retaining a very comfortable, warm interior. Both also feature custom cotton liners with velvet collars. Watch the video below from Visvim's dissertations to learn about the Mawata silk process.
